In 2006, a camera brand collaborated with Kodak to release their first digital camera. It was a landmark moment. A few years later they did it again, with a refined design that pushed the CCD sensor even further. The colors these cameras produced straight out of the file are unlike anything made before or since. Warm, layered, and immediately recognizable to anyone who has spent time with them.
CCD sensors have largely been replaced by better technology. In most measurable ways, modern cameras outperform them. But the era of a camera brand and a filmmaker building something together with that kind of intention feels like it belongs to another time.
CCD89 is built around both of those cameras. Four presets in total: two color variants modeled after each body, and a monochrome partner for each. It's the most expansive single pack we've released, rounded out with a range of modifiers to take the look further.
