THE ART OF THE ATMOSPHERE
MAY 12-14, 2027
CHASING ATMOSPHERE
This workshop is for photographers who want to chase extraordinary light and weather through one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
Your goal is simple: create the photograph you'll want to print, frame, and hang on your wall. This is your fine art experience.
We'll spend our time following the clouds, chasing dramatic light, and adapting to whatever the Teton Range gives us. Rather than sticking to a rigid itinerary, we'll go where the conditions take us, making the most of every opportunity to create something truly special.

Every photo on this page was taken during the month of May.
May is a very special month in this range. There will be clouds. There will be unpredictable weather. There could be warm days. There could be snow. The animals are returning to their normal rhythms after a long and hard winter. The entire region is waking up.
This workshop will begin very early in the morning and will be reactive to the weather and best opportunities each day. Apart from our time in the field, we’ll be talking about best practices for editing and printing.
